Life of a lolipop :)

A normal-routine grocery shopping trip last night, turned memorable when my baby girl decided to enjoy her first lolipop. :) Standing at the Cash counter she pointed & asked for a lolipop. So we got her one & opened the wrapper for her. And lick-lick-smile-smile the process started! Big girl that she is, she wanted to hold the lolipop herself. And she managed for all of 5 mins before pop it went on the floor & was lost to the world. Alas the lolipop had an early death, & didn't make it to it full potency but its death will always be remembered as "You were my first!"! ;)

And just like that Ami wanted to eat her banana herself today! I know its no rocket-science & is a natural process to growing older; but small leaps such as these are a pleasure to notice as a parent!

My precious little baby is an independent toddler now. What can I say- enjoy it while it lasts ehhh? ;)
